President of the Aboriginal Council of Winnipeg. Actively involved in numerous organizations, she has received many honours for her community work. She is currently serving as a board member of The Forks North Portage Partnership, as co-chair of the North Main Task Force, as a member of the Heritage Council of Manitoba and as a member of the Manitoba Round Table on Sustainable Development.
